Update: The city has also posted some “snow emergency tips” to keep you safe in the storm.
The city has cancelled all meetings and public hearings scheduled for Tuesday night, including the Common Council meeting, due to the looming blizzard.
They will not be rescheduled, with the next council meeting now scheduled for Wednesday, Feb. 16 (due to the primary election).
- Also, there will be no garbage or recycling pickup on Wednesday, and the self-deposit station will be closed until Friday, among other city cancellations and postponements.
- The South Milwaukee School District has also postponed a propsective student overview night scheduled for this evening. Check out the district’s website here.
