The Business Journal has a story on the new owner of the former Bickler’s — and it’s a name area Harley-Davidson enthusiasts may know.
Chaz Hastings, owner of Milwaukee Harley-Davidson, is growing his tavern business with Bottoms Up South on 5th and Madison. The tavern is expected to open in the next couple of months.
Chaz and his partner also have taverns in Butler, Richfield and Erin.

FYI: Bickler’s is on 5th & Madison… So glad someone with experience is buying this place. Tavern ownership is not for the unexperienced and has a high failure rate. (speaking from experience as a tavern brat who regularly cleaned out the bottle chute).

Ann, this is the general manager and I would like to follow up with you and try to make it up to you. I am sincerely sorry this happened, so please allow me to buy you a couple drinks and talk. I do NOT want to make excuses for bad service, but I would like to hear more about what happened so I can develop my staff and correct bad habits. If you can forgive the mistake and give us another chance, please contact me at s.murphy@milwaukeeharley.com
