At 14-18, it hasn’t been the best of seasons for the South Milwaukee High School baseball team. That, however, can change with a couple more wins … and a trip to the state tournament.
Following upsets win over sixth-seeded Muskego and third-seeded Franklin, the 11th-seeded Rockets play seventh-seeded West Allis Hale in a sectional semifinal at 2 p.m. on Monday at Hale. The winner of that game plays top-seeded Oak Creek or Greendale with a berth to the state tournament on the line.
