The South Milwaukee Health Department is reporting that seven people have been diagnosed and hospitalized with Influenza A so far this flu season.
That’s up from recent years, and it drives home the importance of getting your flu shots.
Remember, the Health Department has influenza vaccine available, and walk-in flu shot clinics are held from 2 to 4 p.m. every Thursday at the department, located inside City Hall.
The vaccine costs $28 for adults, and it’s free for those six months through age 18.
