A few items on today’s snowstorm …
- The Street Department tells me they began salting at 7 a.m. today, and, as of about 3 p.m., they had 16 trucks on South Milwaukee streets both plowing and salting, including alleys.
- After-school activities, including athletics, are on as scheduled tonight, according to the South Milwaukee School District.
- And here’s a reminder on snow removal ordinances. It’s a blog post from 2009, but it still applies. Here is the Street Department website.
