With its first conference championship in 18 years, it was quite a year for the South Milwaukee girls’ basketball team. Unfortunately, it ended Saturday night, as top-seeded New Berlin Eisenhower held off fourth-seeded South Milwaukee in a WIAA regional final, 63-59.
