An inch of rain, melting snow, frozen ground and a gutter probably in need of an extension … not a good combination.
Did anyone else get water in their basement the last couple of days? We did — as much as we’ve ever had in the six-plus years we’ve lived in our house.

Sorry to hear that, I know how much it sucks getting water in the basement when the sewer backed up into our basement. I wouldn’t wish that upon anyone and you just feel so helpless, because all you can do is try to keep the water out and then clean up when it’s all over.
