Putting The Spirit In Spirits: Downtown South Milwaukee Bar To Reopen

Spirits will have new life next month.

The South Milwaukee City Council on Tuesday approved a Class B liquor license for Ed Abrams and the establishment at 922 Milwaukee Ave. Ed said he hopes to reopen Spirits Bar & Grill in mid-June, pending inspections.

That would be a little over a year after a major fire damaged the tavern.
