A memorial service for Dave Nelson, a South Milwaukee High School science teacher who died last week, will be held at 5 p.m. on Thursday at the Performing Arts Center.

Staff, students and parents are welcome to attend. The family has requested that only family members and close friends attend the services on Saturday.
Dave was a High School Science teacher starting with the 2000-2001 school year. Dave will be remembered by many as an energetic, caring teacher with a true gift for teaching. He will be missed.
