Our community leaders, school district officials and school board members should hang their heads in shame. A child died IN OUR COMMUNITY and yet the people that are supposed to show leadership remain silent. I pray for the family of the child, and the children in our community who are suffering. Listen to the children! To pretend that our community doesn’t have real problems can no longer be!

My son is bullied…in our community! I pray every day that people will come into his life, in our community…to accept him for who he is…so that the bullies won’t win!

I hear so many stories from frustrated parents…who say the district does not listen to their concerns…that they don’t get addressed…and their children continue to suffer…in pain. How can this be?

That child’s life mattered…him, but his life mattered to me.

Apparently I did not have the full story and I apologize if I offended anyone.
I heard that the cause was bullying and that has not been confirmed…it hit close to home because bullying is real in our community and it affects my family. My deepest condolences to the family.
