A widened Nicholson/Pennsylvania Avenue is expected to reopen by the end of October.
That’s according to an update from South Milwaukee City Engineer Kyle Vandercar.
Curb and sidewalk work and topsoil installation is happening now, and surface paving and installation of signs, sod/seeding and street lights are planned for the next week or so.
