What’s For Sale: Wanna Buy A Gas Station?

Just noticed a “for sale” sign up on this property

I’ve long wondered why a gas station couldn’t work at 10th and Manitoba. It certainly has the traffic and visibility.

If you’ve got $400,000 to spend, here’s your chance.

Also, it looks like 14th Precinct is for sale, and DC Connection remains on the block.

KWIK TRIP – we could certainly use a quick trip in our town. They are Wisconsin-based, have the best bakery, and 39cent bananas every day. They have also won top employer awards. Somebody please woo them!

What is the matter with that place. It seems gas stations have been coming a going there every couple months for the last few years. Has it been the same owners playing some games?

  3. SM Guy: Good question. I’ve wondered the same thing. It’s open one week, closed the next. The difference this time: the for-sale sign. I don’t think the property has been actively marketed until recently. I see that as a good sign. Hopefully someone will buy that property and actually keep it open.

caterpillar needs more parking and its next to the property the city intends to lease to cat for parking maybe they can buy it and combine the two and take all the rest of the cars that park on the side streets off the side streets

Kwik Trip – seriously. Great bakery, produce, coffee and a good responsible Wisconsin-based employer. Can the CDA, the Mayor or someone make an introduction?
