Good news, for now.
The flood warning issued for Oak Creek in South Milwaukee has been cancelled.
Check out the National Weather Service bulletin here.
I hope things remain OK the next two days, with more rain in the forecast. Mitchell International reported more than 1.7 inches on Tuesday alone, according to WISN.

The creek level next to SMHS appeared dangerously high this morning – from the road it appeared to have about 1 foot to go before it spilled over. If it overflows, it may be a mess for parents trying to pick up students at 2:52pm.
Also, the road underneath the railroad trellis by the high school needs repair asap, or at least some warning signs/orange cones for drivers. The giant crater holes going eastbound yesterday were filled with water. Motorists unaware of the potholes have no clue they’re under there when they’re going full speed.
