Next week is National Peace Officers Week, and we had the chance to honor some of those everyday heroes — both police officers and citizens — at Tuesday’s South Milwaukee City Council meeting.
It’s one of my favorite meetings of the year … and I was proud to play a small role in calling attention to the great work of our people and willingness to step up by area residents.
