I’ll be there. In addition, for those who cannot make it on the 25th:
On Saturday April 18th, the Friends of Grant Park are hosting a fast-paced two hour Beach cleanup north and south of the Seven Bridges egress to the beach and in the ravines. That’s the weekend Before Earth Day.
We’ll MEET AT AREA 5 LOT at 9 a.m. for supplies. With the storm surges of late last year, there is a ton of plastic and waste on the beach. We’ll have supplies at the lower main beach lot as well if that is a preference, but we really want to focus on the steps and beaches of the northern tier of the park this Spring. Even if folks only have an hour, the park will benefit from clean-up endeavors. Hope to see Friends of our beautiful park on April 18th.
