On April 6, 2016 at about 12:51 a.m., the South Milwaukee Police Department responded to a report of a self-inflicted gunshot wound in the 2600 block of South Chicago Avenue. A 37-year-old male victim was transported to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The investigation is ongoing.
