I worked at a small Ma & Pa Machine Shop for almost 25 years. Eighty percent of our product was for “Caterpillar”. Made a good living at it. Sad to see these BIG companies come to an end. I served an apprenticeship at Kearney & Trecker…Gone ! Lived not far from Allis Chalmers…Gone ! Worked at Graffs Soda in Milwaukee…..Gone ! This could go on as many of you “Old Timers” know.
