From the South Milwaukee Police Department …
At approximately 6:31 am the South Milwaukee Police Department Communications Center received a 911 call reporting an accidental shooting at a residence located in the 2500 block of Lake Shore Boulevard. Officers responded to the residence and located a victim who had been shot inside the residence. Life saving measures were attempted but were unsuccessful.
The South Milwaukee Police Department is currently conducting a death investigation.
