Need Help Raking, Or Know Someone Who Does?

The South Milwaukee football team wants to help.

From coach Derek Hoff … this is very cool.

The South Milwaukee Football team will again be volunteering our time to Rake Leaves for families or people who could truly benefit from the service.

This will take place on Sunday October 18th from 12-2:30 PM

All 6-12th grade boys will be traveling around South Milwaukee raking, bagging leaves, and removing them from the property.

Please sign up any families or people who may have challenges with cleaning up their yards.

Right now it doesn’t look like my leaves will have dropped by the 18th, but you guys did a fantastic job for me last year. Please put me on the list and we will see what happens.

    Thank you.

I am trying to have my leaves raked by the high school kids. I can’t access the link provided. Please contact me.

I rake my leaves multiple times (and haven’t even started yet). My coworker has a lot of trees and does his once at the end. Doing it once at the beginning of the season does not seem all that helpful. More of a “look how great we are” activity.

SM Guy, Glad to see you are such an optimistic guy. I’m sure your days, weeks, and years are filled with smiles, passion for people, and making others lives better. Thanks for your support for these kids… it’s about lessons learned and giving of oneself for NO REWARD. “look how great we are”… I don’t know if you know me personally, but if you’d like to sit down and have lunch someday I’d love to share my values with you. My work phone # is 766-5244 or email me at dhoff@sdsm.k12.wi.us to set up if you’re interested.

Other athletic seasons start in Early November and it’s hard to pull kids all together after the football season ends… that is why this date was necessary because our season was coming to a close.

      Again thanks for the support.

Perhaps the raking can be rescheduled for a more realistic time given the delay in cold weather and leaf drop. Then we can do great work, yes.
