Get your knowledge ready for Heritage week at the end of July and join Suburban Soles: Guided Nature Walks on Sunday (7/8/18) for The History of South Milwaukee, “Historic Escape” with local historian Nels Munson as we hike the Forked Astor Trail and learn about the Mill Pond and Oak Creek’s role in the development of South Milwaukee, this history of the train trestle and Grand Park Club House, and all the historic houses down Hawthorne ave. Meet at 6th and Milwaukee at 10 a.m.
