South Milwaukee Police: 62-Year-Old Woman Dies After Stabbing; Man in Custody

From the South Milwaukee Police Department …

At approximately 9:30 AM the South Milwaukee Police and Fire Departments responded to an apartment building in the 500 block of Clark Avenue for a report of a stabbing. Upon arrival, officers found a 62- year-old female with multiple stab wounds. Despite lifesaving efforts, she was pronounced deceased. A 31-year-old male was taken into custody near the scene. We continue to investigate the relationship between the victim and suspect, as well as the circumstances that led to this incident. No other suspects are being sought and there is no further danger to the community.
