August 11: Join us for Mayor Chet’s First Pitch

Chet Grobschmidt, 99 years young, gets a once-in-a-lifetime chance on Sunday, Aug. 11: The opportunity to throw out a first pitch at a Milwaukee Brewers game. Let’s come together to cheer on our former mayor!

I spoke to the Brewers this week, and there are a limited number of tickets available for the 1:10 game against the Texas Rangers, which also happens to be Josh Hader Bobblehead Day.

I’m pulling together a group order. Join us! Tickets are $25 each (Terrace Reserved seats), and all ticketed fans get the bobblehead.

Interested? Register here by 8 a.m. on Wednesday.

I’ll then buy tickets and get reimbursed at the game.

Let’s get a big group together to celebrate this South Milwaukee icon.

Would love to see a festival “Chet Fest” honoring Mr. Grobschmidt for his 100th birthday. Anybody interested?
