Thanks to everyone who took part in the South Milwaukee Beautification Committee Community Cleanup on Saturday!
While it was great to see people step up to remove trash, I hope this becomes a community commitment throughout the year.
My ask: Next time you’re on a walk, or visit Grant Park, especially the beach or Seven Bridges, please take a garbage bag with you, and fill it up. In that way, we can lead dozens of neighborhood cleanups, one bag at a time.
That includes me.
