Proud to welcome our newest business on Saturday, Oct.3: South Milwaukee Sausage & Meats. Good luck to Tom, Doc and the team. We have the meats in downtown South Milwaukee! Stop and see for yourself — the line down the block has probably died down by now. Details on their website, Facebook page and in this Milwaukee Journal Sentinel article.
Glad to meet Amir recently. A Serbian immigrant, he is planning to open a gyro and burger restaurant in the former Grebe’s/Nona’s/Grillworks building, 2206 10th Avenue. He’s already working in the space, and it’s looking great. I’m excited to see another food option and another small business coming to our city, as part of our ongoing downtown rebirth. And we are just getting started. More to come! More details here.
