Happy 125th! Celebration Kicks Off This Week With Pop-Up Theater Performance

It’s South Milwaukee’s sesquicentennial, and the city formally begins its celebration this week.

You can check out the full schedule of events here, starting with a pop-up theater performance. From the 125th Committee …

As part of South Milwaukee’s 125 Anniversary celebrations we will be performing an original short (15 min) play about South Milwaukee history! The first performance is open to the public on July 27th at 6:30 pm at the Downtown Market stage (or the senior center if it rains). The second will be the evening of August 10th at South Milwaukee’s Board and Commission banquet at the Bucyrus Club.

Check out the flyers below for more. And we’ll see you Wednesday!

The celebration extends beyond events, too. Stay tuned for more details.
