A body was found near a creek in South Milwaukee Sunday, according to the South Milwaukee Police Department and Milwaukee County Sheriff’s Office. The body was discovered near 15th Avenue and Oak Creek Parkway.
The deceased individual was likely a homeless person who was living in that area, South Milwaukee Police Chief William Jessup said. The sheriff’s office is investigating the death.
