From We Energies, via the city’s website …
So far, our specialized forestry crews have trimmed trees along several miles of power lines in South Milwaukee. The next phase of the work will be on private property and will require special equipment and access to customers’ backyards. We will reach out to those customers as we get to these locations. Overall, we will be trimming over 7 miles of our overhead lines in South Milwaukee.
Full details here.

When will the city Replace trees they have removed on the easements to beautify our streets again?
If they could please trim big branches rubbing on wires in the alley behind 1500 block of Monroe Ave. We have been calling for years and keep getting the run around – but the wires are cutting into the branches and during 1 of the last storms all were hanging very low.Thank you,
I would like to ask if you would include in your tree trimming, the tree in the alley behind 1510 Monroe Ave. The branches are laying on the wires quite a lot and are a real hazard.
Thank You
