Larson Plans South Milwaukee Town Hall For Wednesday @ Library

Note: A previous version of this post listed the wrong date for this event. It is Wednesday, May 7.

Here is the message from State Sen. Chris Larson’s office … see you there!

Join Senator Chris Larson and Mayor Erik Brooks for a town hall meeting on Wednesday, May 7, at the South Milwaukee Library (1907 10th Ave) from 5 pm to 6:30 pm.

Senator Larson will discuss how legislation that passed during session this year will affect the community, and looks forward to hearing from neighbors! This is also a great opportunity to connect with South Milwaukee’s new Mayor, Erik Brooks.

Please contact Grace Fuhr, Senator Larson’s district director, for additional information: 414-273-1509,grace.fuhr@legis.wi.gov.

Great idea to have a town hall meeting. I will be there. I have some very specific questions for Mr. Larson. I just hope his comments aren’t slanted.

Unfortunately, anything coming from Larson is slanted.

    Chris Larson? Not impressed….

Correct Carrie….All he does is bash the Republicans! Yet he never suggests alternatives or solutions, nor does he want to work both Party lines. One day people will wake up to his rhetoric and vote him out of office. That way he can move to Illinois permanantly!

  6. No matter where folks stand on the political spectrum — and how they view Sen. Larson — I give him credit for holding a public forum like this. That much I hope we can all agree on.

As long as you are representing all citizens Erik. Will you be inviting someone from the other side to a town hall meeting? I would hope so. Good luck to all!

    • Absolutely. I’d love to see Rep. Rodriguez, for example, do a similar meeting here. And I welcome people of all viewpoints to Wednesday’s meeting — and throughout any of the debates we have as a city. There are good ideas all over — Democratic, Republican, etc.
