So, How Much Rain Have We Gotten?

Second Update: South Milwaukee received 3.29 inches of rain on April 9, our wastewater superintendent reports. And as of 9:25 p.m., Oak Creek in South Milwaukee was just shy of minor flood stage, at 7.98 feet. Moderate flooding would occur at 10 feet, with major flooding at 11 feet. The record recording was 11.6 feet. 

Update: As of 2 p.m. today (April 9), Oak Creek just east of 15th Avenue, north of Oak Creek Parkway, was at approximately 6.46 feet. Flood stage for that area is 8 feet. 

2.18 inches.

That’s how much our Wastewater Treatment Facility has measured from overnight Tuesday/Wednesday through noon today (Thursday). More is expected.
