Hope he doesn’t spew his “progressive” views into his presentation.

John Gurda is a highly respected Milwaukee/ Southeastern Wisconsin historian. His presentations are highly informative and entertaining. Twenty dollars for one of his shows along with a meal seems to be a great way to spend a Saturday evening in our historic little town.

I wonder if Mr. John Gurda knows who Howard Eells (1855-1919) past CEO of Bucyrus is. I believe Mr. Eells made South Milwaukee center of the intellectual world in 1904, with the his design and manufacture of steam shovels 50 years ahead of there time.
