Summer Is Coming: Milwaukee County Traveling Beer Garden Returns To Grant Park Starting June 28

Hours are 5-9 p.m. Monday-Friday and 11 a.m.-9 p.m. Saturdays, Sundays and holidays.

From Milwaukee County

Beer gardens are a tradition brought to Wisconsin by German brewers in the 1850s – they’re outdoor areas where beer and food are served, typically at shared tables shaded by trees.

The Traveling Beer Garden tours transform parks into temporary beer gardens for twelve days at a time. Restored fire trucks were converted into mobile beer trucks, serving up craft beers, and more.

One simultaneously running tour will travel to different parks between May and September.

The Traveling Beer Gardens are managed by Milwaukee County Parks in partnership with Sprecher Brewery. Revenue from the beer gardens goes back into improving the parks.

Our beer partner, Sprecher Brewery, offers an ever-changing selection of Sprecher craft beer at each tour stop. Cider, gluten-free options, and non-alcoholic beverages are available as well. While Sprecher remains the featured beverage at the TBG, we will also be offering City Lights, Lakefront & Eagle Park Breweries this summer.
